4. Uses Requiring Separate Permission

Unless a specific license expressly allows it or applicable law permits it, you may not:

  • Sell or sublicense our cards, images, templates, or other website content.
  • Use our design materials on products for resale, including print-on-demand merchandise.
  • Include our content in paid template collections, stock libraries, or downloadable asset packages.
  • Copy or republish substantial portions of our collection on another website, app, or service.
  • Extract and redistribute individual design elements from our templates as standalone assets.
  • Use our content in business advertising, paid promotions, or other commercial campaigns without permission.
  • Remove or obscure existing copyright notices, attribution, or watermarks on our materials.
  • Claim exclusive ownership of our templates or other preexisting design materials.

5. Card Designer

Personalizing Your Card

You may use Card Designer to customize the templates and design options provided within the tool. Where supported, this may include adding text, changing available design settings, or importing your own images.

You are responsible for reviewing your finished card before downloading, printing, or sharing it. Check names, spelling, dates, image placement, and any personal information included in the design.

Your Uploaded Content

“Your Content” means the text, photographs, graphics, and other materials you provide through Card Designer or otherwise submit to the Services.

You retain any ownership rights you hold in Your Content. You confirm that you own it or have the permissions or other legal rights necessary to use it through the Services and share the resulting card.

This includes any required permission to use a person’s photograph, likeness, name, or other personal information. Do not upload confidential information or materials you are not authorized to use.

Permission to Process Your Content

To the extent Your Content is transmitted to us or our service providers, you grant us a limited, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to process, reproduce, and display it only as necessary to provide the features you request, such as editing, generating, downloading, or sharing your card.

This permission does not transfer ownership of Your Content to us or authorize us to use it in advertising without your separate permission. Processing and retention of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.

Rights in Finished Cards

You retain any rights you have in your original contributions to a finished card. Our templates and other preexisting materials remain subject to their existing ownership and license terms.

Customizing a template does not give you exclusive ownership of the underlying design. Other users may use the same templates or create similar cards.

Finished cards that include our materials may be used under the personal, noncommercial license described in these Terms unless a separate license expressly permits additional uses.

Saving and Sharing

Card Designer is not a backup or permanent storage service. Keep your own copies of any original files and finished cards you want to retain. Do not assume that an unfinished design will remain available after you close the page or leave the tool.

Display, download, and print results may vary depending on your device, browser, image quality, and printer settings. We do not guarantee a particular print result.

When you share a card through an external platform, that platform’s terms and privacy practices apply. Anyone who receives a card may save or reshare it, so review its contents before sending.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Create or distribute unlawful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or fraudulent content.
  • Infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
  • Impersonate another person or falsely suggest an endorsement or affiliation.
  • Create or distribute content involving child sexual exploitation or other illegal sexual material.
  • Send spam, scams, or deceptive communications.
  • Upload malware or attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the Services.
